Black Forest Porridge

This porridge is the perfect start to the day if you crave something warm and comforting. If you like Black Forest Cake, you will love this healthy porridge version of it!

Total Time: 10-15 mins

Servings: 1 person



45 g oats

250 ml liquid (water or

plant-based milk)

8 cherries

1/2 - 1 tsp cacao powder

1 tsp cacao nibs

1 tsp honey


3 tbsp natural or soy yoghurt

1 tsp cacao nibs

fresh cherries



1. Cut the cherries into quarters.

2. In a small pot, mix oats, water or milk, cacao powder, honey, and cacao nibs. Cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes until the porridge has the desired consistency.

3. Top the porridge with yoghurt, cacao nibs and fresh cherries.
