Hot Winter Apple Juice


For all the people that want to enjoy a hot alcohol-free drink instead of mulled wine. It is the perfect drink for a cold winter afternoon and made in less than 10 minutes.

Portions: 2 large mugs

 

Ingredients


600 ml apple juice (depending on

your mug size)

3 cinnamon sticks

2 oranges

2 tbsp sugar (optional)


 

Method


1. Pour the apple juice into a small pot and add the cinnamon sticks. Grate the zest of 1 orange into the apple juice and add the juice of the orange as well.


3. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5-10 minutes. Add the sugar and let simmer for another minute.


4. Garnish with orange slices and a cinnamon stick.
