My first recipe and the reason why I started this blog. Everybody loves this granola and wanted to have the recipe for it, so here it is. Store-bought granola is often very high in sugar and saturated fats. This is a healthier version that you can do yourself at home.
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 25 mins
Total Time: 35 mins
Servings: 15-20
Portion: 1 tray
Ingredients
500 g jumbo oats
100 g pecan nuts
100 g cashew nuts
50 g sunflower oil
100 g agave syrup
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 pinch sea salt
25 g pumpkin seeds
Method
Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
Roughly chop the nuts.
Mix the sunflower oil, agave syrup, cinnamon and salt. In a large bowl, pour the mixture over the oats and chopped nuts and give it a good stir.
Put the mixture on a baking tray with baking paper and bake for 25 minutes until it is golden brown. Give it a stir every 5 minutes.
Add the pumpkin seeds for the last 5 minutes.
Let cool for at least 1 hour.
Enjoy!
