Plum season is finally there! This cake is the perfect dessert to eat in the afternoon with friends and family. You can make this recipe with several other fruit, such as rhubarb, apples or apricots.

Ingredients
Dough:
4 eggs
250 g sugar
1 pack vanilla sugar
200 g sunflower oil
50 g milk
250 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 lemon (zest)
Crumble:
100 g butter (cold)
100 g sugar
180 g flour
500 g plums
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Whisk the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until they are creamy. Gradually add the oil, milk, baking powder and flour.
3. Grate the lemon and add the zest to the dough. Pour the dough into a springform tin (approx. 26 cm).
4. Pit the plums and halve them. Spread them on top of the dough.
5. Make the crumble: Mix the cold butter, flour and sugar with your hands until it has a crumble consistency.
6. Top the plums with the crumble and bake the cake for 55-65 minutes.
