Vegan French Toast

This French toast is incredibly yummy! The banana serves as an egg replacement and gives the toast an amazing flavor. Be creative with the toppings, you could also add chocolate chips, peanut butter or chocolate spread.

Cooking Time: 5 mins

Total Time: 10 mins

Servings: 2 people

Portions: 4 toasts

 

Ingredients


1 ripe banana

125 ml almond milk

4 toasts

1 pinch cinnamon

fresh berries

blanched almonds


 

Method


1. Put the banana, almond milk and cinnamon into a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour into a large bowl.


2. Heat some oil or margarine in a pan. Soak each toast for 5-10 seconds in the banana-almond mixture and fry until golden brown on each side.


3. Top with almond butter and fresh berries.
